 SHIPPING POLICY

All orders are shipped via Canada Post. All Canada Post deliveries must be made to a verifiable street address.

Please make sure you double check your shipping delivery address. Maya Fashion Collection is not responsible for any misinformation that is typed into the order.

When a package is not delivered due to an error made by the customer in submitting the proper shipping address, Maya Fashion Collection will reship the package with corrected address and charge an additional shipping fee for the shipment.

 

Delivery times

While most orders begin the shipping process immediately after payment received, please allow a minimum of 24-48 business hours to process and ship your Maya Fashion Collection item.

All items purchased on backorder or on made to order or on out of stock or on PRE-ORDER will be shipped within 2-3 week after payment has cleared for your item to be made prior to dispatch and you will be notified by email.

International shipping

Shipping fees are not refundable under any event.

We currently offer standard shipping to most locations globally where we have had demand; however we are happy to arrange international delivery elsewhere if your country is not listed at checkout.

Please email us at info@mayafashioncollection.com and we can, in most cases, organize a quote for delivery.

Shipments to foreign countries sometimes get held up in customs or can be subject to regular customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. We have no control over this. If you are overseas and need the package by a specific date, let us know so that we can discuss faster shipping options.

 

We are obligated to disclose the contents and value of goods shipped to international destinations. International buyers are responsible for custom duties, taxes and fees that may be assessed by your government or postal services.

 

 Refunds & exchanges   POLICY           

Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. Please email us at info@mayafashioncollection.com to let us know if a return or refund is required and we will notify you of the address to send your item back to.

 

The below guidelines will always apply:

  1. If your Maya Fashion Collection item is damaged or faulty then please send it back to us within three days of the delivery confirmation date and we will send you a new item at no extra cost.

 

  1. If you are unhappy with the size of your Maya Fashion Collection item, please send it back to us within three days of the delivery confirmation date and we will send you a different size depending on stock availability. If the exact item is not available in your desired size then we will offer you a choice in a different style. We recommend you see our sizing guide before you purchase as customers must pay for postage of the new item if there is a sizing issue.

 

  1. If you are unhappy with your purchase and the item is not damaged or faulty then please send the item back to us within three days of the delivery confirmation date, in all original packaging and we will offer you a full refund minus applicable postage costs.

 

  1. Returns will be accepted only if the return is sent within three days of the delivery confirmation date. A full refund of the purchase price, excluding the shipping, will be made promptly upon receiving the merchandise in the same condition in which it was shipped.

 

  1. No returns or refund for custom designed pieces, if the measurements provided by that customer are incorrect, the customer is responsible for shipping both ways for the item to be adjusted. If the item does not fit we will take that item and adjust measurements for a more custom fit if possible.

 

  1. If an item was made in the wrong measurements at the fault of the customer, to have an item to be remade a 2nd time, the customer will be charge 40% of retail price. Once we have remade that item the piece will be made after we receive the returned item.

 

  1. You must notify us of any return so that we will be expecting your package. Returns that are sent without our prior knowledge will be refused.

 

  1. All items must be unworn and unwashed in original condition with the tag still attached. Customers will be responsible for shipping and handling charges to return the item. If the package does not reach us safely, we will not be able to complete the refund. Please make sure you get tracking on your returns so that proof of delivery can be verified.

 

Conditions of return

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Additional Policies and FAQs

For the custom made, we would need your accurate, up to date measurements for pieces to fit perfect.
Customer will be responsible for return shipping on inaccurate measurements to have pieces corrected/alterations.

 

 RETURN POLICY

We accept returns and exchanges within three days of the delivery confirmation date of unworn and unwashed items in original condition with tag still attached. Customers will be responsible for shipping and handling charges to return the item. Please make sure you get tracking on your returns so that proof of delivery can be verified. No returns or exchanges after three days of the delivery confirmation date.

Clearance items:

Items bought on clearance are final sale.

 

Undelivered shipments:

In the instance that your package is missing and hasn’t been delivered, please contact us. Once the package is in the hands of the Canada Post, they become liable for the safe delivery of your items. If a package isn’t properly delivered, upon notification from the customer, we will open up a case with Canada Post. Please allow 2 weeks for us to investigate and arrive at a resolution. If you do not receive your order within the 2 weeks of investigation, we’ll provide you with the option of either reshipping your order or giving you store credit. A refund will not be issued.

Maya Fashion Collection items are handcrafted by artisans in Cameroon. We strive to create beautiful, high quality items for our customers.  Each item is unique; textile placement will vary and other variations may occur due to the handmade nature of our products. Please consider these facts when evaluating merchandise for return or exchange.

 Disclaimer
To the best of our knowledge our items are made with Child Safe Materials. However, please watch your child when wearing an item with ribbon, bows, flowers, elastic and other items attached.

All sizes and measurements are approximate and fabric patterns can vary depending on size and cut. Exact fabric color may vary from pictures due to camera, computer and monitor settings.

A: “One size” items are suitable for all sizes up to US-14/ UK-18/ EU-46.
